Wellington Notes.
(Per Press Association.)
Wellington, March 25. In order to push on work at the Parliament Buildings sixty more bricklayers are wanted, but apparently cannot be got. A message was cent to Christchurch for men, but not a single responded, and requisitions upon the Labor Bureau of tha colony met with any better success.
The Land Board is still receiving applications for relief from sufferers by the bush tires, and time has been granted them to pay arrears of rent.
