The manager reports that 31 feet j have been driven on the reef, which has carried gold all through. A few pieces of Btone showing gold were obtained this week. A three-inch leader was cut throngh laßb Tuesday, which gives a good prospect by pounding. HARBOR VIEW (Coromandel). The manager secured I6lba of picked stone during the week from the Blue Petor leader, and has been getting good general crushing dirt for the past week. The men are now up 36 feet from the level, the ground and reefs being very good and easy to work. NEW GOLCONDA. The manager reports: —" Stoping sinking, and driving have been carried on during the week. The leader in both the stope and winze has been knocked about, and we seem to be in an old water course. So far no picked stone has been selected. This week I will be over where we got some very good picked stone both in the intermediate drive and stopes. There is an improvement in the leader i« the winze. I secured a piece of stone some 10 feet down with a strong dab of gold in it, which shows that the gold goes down.
