It is stated that Alexander Me Intosh, for some years past general manager of the Eoyal Bank oi Queensland, has been selected as r of the Bank of New Zealand in succession to Mr J. M. Butt. By he terms of the Banking Act, the ippointinent of auditor rests with the Government.
