The Kaiwhenua Block.
(To the Editor.) Sic, —I saw in your paper lately a statement to the effect that I had no t interest in the Kaiwhenua Block, the subject of an action lately in the Magistrate's Court, but that Kapihana was the principal owner. In reply please allow me to state that this piece of land was divided by the Native Lands Court into 15 shares. Of these I own two shares, and my brother, a minor for whom I was appointed! trustee, . owns two shares, whereas Kapihana only owns one share. When people Jinake statements in newspapers they aught, before doing so, to endeavour to ascertain the truth or otherwise of the statement they are about to make.—l am, etc., | Tttkumawa.
