DUNEDIN.—August 11. ■ The trustees of the Dunedin Savings Bank purpose getting a Bill introduced next session to wind up the business, -believing that Jthe Post Office Savings Bank now meets, all requirements. ] The extra profits, amounting to about £15,000, it is proposed to handover as an endowment to the Dunedin Hospital. The Act of 1878 makes provision ! for the profits being given to certain institutions named, and- already some £11,000 has been given as an endowment to the benevolent institution. , At a meeting of the Otago members it. was agreed to supp.rt the Bill to en^i dow the Hospital.
