Miss Ada Delroy's Company

V Mr James Morgan, the advance manager' of Misa Ada Delroy's Company, ai'rived from the South this morning to make all preliminary arrangements for the appearance of the gifted tmrlesque and terpischoreau artiste, Miss A.da Delroy, and her clever company of entertainers. '1 he Thames season will be limited to three nights only, and will be inaugurated at the Academy of Music ou Friday evening next, the 2nd of April. The Wanganui Herald, speaking of the company, says:—" It is many years since Wanganui theatre-goers were favored with such a first-class entertainment as was so thoroughly enjoyed last evening at the Oddfellows' Hall by the enthusiastic audience assembled to witness the opening performance of the above talented company. The programme ' presented was lengthy and varied, and contained a number of items of a distinctly varied character. Not the slightest objection could be taken to a single act of the performers —rwhich cannot be eaid of every company,—all of whom are artists of the first water in their respective lines, 1 aud the large assemblage were unanimous in their verdict that it was ' a real good show.' From the opening

overture by Mr Bert Phillips, the company's pianist, to the exhibition of • ' somnomancy' by Madame Bell there was not a dull moment, and the audience at times fairly ' laughed till they cried.'"
