MANAGERS' REPORTS.
KAISER (Tarautt)
The manager reports .as follows :— Since I last reported thereof has again increased in size, and now shows a fine healthy body of ore measuring 3ft in thickness, containing abundance of excellent minerals similar in character to what was seen in the old Sylvia reef when it was producing good results. I can obtain a very fair prospect of free gold by pounding, and the quartz on the whole presents a very promising appearance. Near the face there is a strong branch leader about Miii. thick striking off into the right wall, Paull's drive upon the course of the reef has been steadily pushed ahead, but this work will be temporarily suspended to enable the men who arc engaged here assisting in the transmission of the ore to where it can be filled into tho drays.—W. Martin.
