Death of Mr Colebrook.

I We regret to have to record the death of Mr J. D. CoMfrook, which took pjiise at Ceromandel yesterday morning. He will I>e greatly missed in Coromaadel. where ho was known to all, ar d his many high personal qualities, integrity and mining capability endeared him to an extended circle of friends all over the field who will mourn his death. He represented the goldfields interest as a member of the County Council for many years past, and sat on the District Charitable Aid Board also as a representatire of the Council. Deceased was 58 years »f age and a native of England. Mrs Colebrook and family will doubtless have the sympathy of-all residents of Cordmandel in their sad bereavement, and the people of the Thames who kne-v the deceased will likewise feel for his widow and family. The body will be accorded a Masonic funeral to-day.
