I Hereby give notice that I intend to ' construct a water-race to divert and use water for purposes, commencing at a point and peg marked ■£ on the old Karo creek, Tairua, and terminating at a peg marked " near the Sea Beach, Tairua The length of such race is 135 chains or thereabouts, and its intended course is easterly. Marked out on September sth, 1896. Required for Te Kura special claim. The mean depth of such race is 2ft and the mean breadth is 3ft 6in, and it is proposed to divert 5 Government heads of water.
