fJ he manager reports as follows: "The following works have been continued during the past week—the Middle Star drive has been extended without any change in the reef. The winzo has been extended, and the contractors are making very good headway here, having sunk 17ft during the fortnight The reef is larger again now than it has been, there being now a reef fully sft wide, and much the same iv appearance. Total depth of winze, 00ft.—Thos. Radi-oud."
