Wesleyan Band of Hope.
At the meeting of the Bandsf Hopoin the W^byan schoolroom laßt evening a very good programme was gone through to the delight of a large audience of young people. Its details were as follow! :— Chairman's (Mr Scott) address; recitation, " The death of Cock Robin " Miss Flora Johns; recitation, "The Market Gardener" Master S, Thomas ; pianoforte duet, " Home Sweet Home" Miss Violet Grundy and Nellie Rollersou; recitation, " Poor Clara Brown " Miss Ellen Job ; recitation, "The murderous duck" Miss Daisy Oate's; solo, " The song that reached my heart" Mies Sutherland; recitation, "The belle of Irinla fare " Miss L. Thomas; vocal duet, "Charity" Misses Oates; recitation, "I'drather not go" Miss N. Hicks; duet, " When you and I were young " Misses M. and B. Davics; recitation, "A sad end" Miss May Bowe; solo, " Brake " Miss Walton; recitation, " lie Wanderer's teturn" Mr Huges; Dialogue, "For Mother's sake" Mr Hntson and Miss and Mister Thomas. The proceedings closed by**the Benediction being pronounced. ■ '
