The tent was £50 in arrears. —Henry Gardiner deposed that ho worked in the vicinity of the Straight Tip. In January Patrick 'Maher borrowed a pick from witness and went prospecting on the Straight Tip for six hours and for about half the next day. To witness' knowledge no other work had been done.—Forfeited and complainant declared first applicant; defendant to pay costs of Court 18s, witnesses' expenses £2 2s, and solicitor's fee £2 2s.
