NOTICE OF INTENTION. TO CON- " STRUCT WATER RACE. District: Hauraki. Date: 9th March, 1857. To the Warden at Thames. I Hereby give r.otica that I intend to construct a -water-race to divert and use water for mining purposes, commencing at a point at a peg marked A on Clark's creek, Mercury Bay, half a mile ' from the junction of the said creek with the Rangihau stream, and terminating at a peg marked A about three chains below the said junction. The length of such race is halt a mile or thereabouts, and its intended course is about easterly. Marked out on February sth, 1897. To be used in connection with the Rangihau No, 1 special claim. The mean depth of such race is lft _6in, and the mean breadth is 2ft 6in, and it is proposed to divert 10 Government headb of ■water. Cost of construction: .£2OO.
