A Popular Railway Official.

Napier, March 16.
Mr E. G. Pilcher, who recently resigned the position of traffic manager of the Napier railway to join the Greymouth and Point Elizabeth Coal Company as Secretary, was to-day presented by the employees and staff with a handsome silver dinner service. The Chamber of Commerce passed a resolution of regret at his retirement.
