Auckland, March 13
SUDDEN DEATH,
Mr Allan Johnson, a well-known carter of the Thames, who had been on a visit to Auckland during the past few days, died rather suddenly in Durham street about 10.30 this morning. The cause of death was an affection of the heart, the deceased having been ailing for some time past. The remains will be taken to the Thames for interment. Deceased was about 60 years of age.
