I Hereby give notice that I intend to construct a water-race to divert and use water for mining purposes, commencing at a point near the Alburnia Battery at the foot of '■ inkers Gully, at a peg marked M., and terminating at the Tararu G-.M. Co.'s dam, also marked M. The length of such race is 55 chains or thereabouts, and its intended course is east and west. The race is required in connection with the Star of England Extended special claim. The mean depth of such race is 3ft, and the mean breadth is 32' c, and it is proposed to divert 10 Government heads of water. Cost of construction: .£SOO.
