The Petroleum Bore.

New Plymouth, March 8
The difficulties in connection with water in the petroleum bore have at last been overcome, and a flow of oil was obtained to-day. Two hundred gallons of petroleum were got this afternoon, aud it is expected pure oil will flow to-morrow.
March 9
Oil is again being obtained in considerable quantity at the Petroleum Company's bore, and the prospects are much more hopeful.
