NEW PLYMOUTH, November 26
Mr J. B. Eoy was elected Mayor for the fifth time, polling 310 to Councillor Furlong's 133. Mr H. Oakey was elected Chairman of the Taranakj County Council.
The weather for the Metropolitan Show to-morrow is threatening. Entries are very numerous.
