The 'cycling carnival was resumed on Suturday, with fine weather and a large attendance. Austbal Wheel Eacb. Crisp (Tasmania) 255 yds 1 Peart (Victoria) 230 yds .. 2 Gargureoich, 250 yds .. 3 Won easily by 20 yards. Parsons and Pither on the 80 yards limit had no chance with the long start meo, and pulled off at the sixth lap. The win of Crisp, who is only 20 years of age, created a great surprise, as he has only been 'cycling ft r the last 18 months. Time, 4min 42 1-5 sees. Five Mil h Intercolonial Scratch Race. Parsons (Victoria) 1 Martin (America) ..2 Porta (Italy) .. .. ..3 Parsons caught the pacing tandem in tbe first lap, and, hanging on to it, led all the way, pulling up by half a lap. Martin beat P^rta by 20 yards. Time, 12mins 34 I*s sece. Parsons afterwards gave an exhibition lap, and paced by a triple tandem, covered the distance in 28 4 5 sees, which is a record. Victobian Club's lh Mile. Payne, 95yde .. .. 1 Bunyon, 20.5 yds 2 McMinis, 85yds .. 3 It was a ciese finish. Time, Smins 36 2-5 sees.
