At a meeting of the promoters of the benefit concert for Mr Cowell held last night it was decided to postpone the concert until Thursday, 4th July. This has been done in order to make way for the Pollard Juvenile Opera Co., who wish to have the hall for the right originally fixed for the concert. In consideration of this kind concession, Mr Pollard has contributed tw» guineas to the benefit fund and Mr Woodward, of the Pacific Hotel, has contributed a like amount, in addition to giving the free use of the Academy.
