FOOTBALL.
TO-MORROWS MATCHES,
The football matches set down for decision at Flett's pr.de!ock tc-rr.orrow afternoon are Thames v. Rovers and Thames 11. v. Rover 11. Neither of these tennis have met before, and looking at their relative strength on paper, they appear to be very evenly matched, so that close contests may be looked forward to. The following are the teams :—
Thames.—Full-back, Lang ; three-quar-ters, W. McGregor, McLean, J. McGregor; halves, Wilson and Median ; forwards, A. McNeice, darken, Farrelly, Johnson, Johns, Thomas, Canbley, Slattery, and Sullivan. Rovers.—Full-back, T. Dufty ; threequarters, Murphy, Watene, Lloyd ; halves, Johns and Paul; forwards, Alexander, Cooper, Smith, Tea, Hugh, Wilson, J. Maxwell, D. Stewart, and T. Smith.
Thames ll.—Power, Johns, McMahon, McGregoi 1, Trainor, Pearce, McEnteer, Ross, Hall, Gordon, McMahon, Sawyer, Connelly, Alexander, McGinty, Robinson, and Herivel.
Rover ll.—Full, Landy; three-quarters, T. Callan, Birch, Koefoed ; halves, F. Callan, and W. Smith ; forwards, Wlielan, Billings, Cameron, Hill, Dare, Hough ton, Twohill, Billing, and O'Brien.
