The half-yearly meeting of Court Pride of the North, No. 5575, A.0.F., took place last evening in the Masonic Hall, Queen street. After tbe usual business the following officers were elected for the ensuing term :—O.R., Bro. Geo. Peploe ; 5.0.8., Bio. W. J. Johnston ; S.W., Bro. Thos. Johnston ; J.W., Bro. C. D. James ; 5.8., Bro. J Addison ; J. 8., Bro. W. Cole: Auditor, Bro. H. J. Clinker, P.C.P. A new member was initiated, making ten for the quarter. It was decided to accord the Court's patronage to the Co well benefit conrerf.

■; A meeting of ail those who attended the first meetings re the Cowell benefit concert is to be held in the Grahamstown Fire Brigade Shed at 7.30 o'clock tomorrow evening, when business of importance is to be considered.

The usual weekly meeting of the Northern Pioneer Gocd Templar Lodge was held last evening, and another splendid attendance was the result. Three new members were duly admitted, and eight more proposed for next Lodge night. After the nsual business terminated, an excellent programme was gone throusb. The following were the items: Pianoforte solo, Sister M. Schofield; reading. Bro. Driver; song, Bro. Itowe, recitation, Sister Cox; song, Bro. Warner; pianoforte solo, Sister Townsend ; concertina solo, Bro. Targetb ; reading, Bro. James; song, Bro. Targett, and song, Bro. Fennell.
