(Press Association.) Sydney, This day. There was fine weather for training this morning. Response put in a good performance, covering the Epsom distance in a shade under lmin oOsecs. Loyalty had the best of Launeeston over the same distance. The Possible did strong work, and Stanmore had a nice gallop. First Shot was badly left by GentilUn in a gallop of once round. Florrie with a light weight up, boat Paris over a mile and a furlong, the time being 2mins 12secs. Melbourne, This day. Mostyn has been scratched for the Melbourne Cup.
