SUDDEN DEATH.
(By Telegraph —Own Correspondent.) Auckland, This day,
Yesterday afternoon an awfully sudden death occurred ou board the American barque Mary Hasbrouck. John William Young, the first mate, was going on with his usual duties ou board when he was seized with a fit of coughing aud began throwing up a great quantity of blood. He was carried into the cabin, when remedial measures were taken to stop the flow of blood, but without avail, and he died in a few minutes.
