Auckland, This day,
A fire has occurred here and destroyed a wooden block of buildings. i*i Wyndbam street owned by tbo Hon. P. Diguao. Tho damage was confined solely to the upper portion of the block used as a boardinghouse, the greater portion of which was completely gutted, The origin of the fire is a mystery, The block was uninsured, The tenants of the house-^-Mr and Mrs Burnand— were also uninsured, and lost most of their belongings,
