Two scenes occurred in the Legislative Assembly last night during the discussion on the unemployed question. Mr Rae defied the Chairman of Committees, and was ordered to be removed from the Chamber. Mr Cook, taking exception to what he thought was a sneer at hi* religious beliefs by the Premier, called the latter a "foulmouthed blackguard," but subsebuently withdrew the words and apologised.
