The Government do not intend to proclaim a day pf mourning for the Duke of Clarence, but minute guns will be fired on the day of the funeral.
: Dunedin. This doy. The Masonic Lodges throughout Otago under the English, Irish, and Scottish Constitutions have been instructed to go into mourning for three months in consequence of the death of their Right "Worshipful Brother, the Duke of Clarence.
