DR. KOCH INTERVIEWED.

"Professor Etuart has asked Dr. Koch if he would undertake experiments with a view to discovering an infectious disease which would destroy rabbits. Dr. Koch,, however, refused and also declined to al« low an Australian delegate to work under his direction. He stated .that he was aware such diseases had occurred, and advised the Australian coloniea to appoint two bacteriologists to study diseases which might ba made available for the purpose io Australia, He was of opinion that the dig - covery of a suitable disease was feasible. Dr. Koch denies that he is angry with the Emperor on account of his attitude towards critics. Professor Stuart has been promised a continuous supply of lymph. SUICIDE OP DUKE OF BEDFOBD.
