The Whitaker-Hutchison Libel Suit.
lIKSLY TO BE DELAYED.
Wellington, This day.
Though the Whitaker-Hutchison libel Bttifc is now set down for trial on the 3rd February, it is improbable that it will be heard on that date, because on appeal has been initiated by the plaintiff against the' order made by the Chief Justice in Ohambars allowing Mr Hutchison's pleas, implicating Sir Harry Atkinson and Mr Mitohelscn, to stand. This appeal is to be argued to the firßfc Banoo sitting after the law vocation, whioh does not expire until the 31st rest. The main case of coarse cannot be prooeeded with till the minor point is decided.
