The annual meeting of tbe Farmers' Co-operative Association was held to-day. The report showed a profit for the year of £4765. A dividend of 8 per cent, on the paid up capital of £11,771 was declared, and a bonus of 6d in the £ on the purchases, and the sum of £1750 was carried forward to the reserve fund. The direc* tors recommended taking up fire and marine insurance business in conjunction with the North Canterbury Association, but no resolution was moved to that effect.

A general dealer, named George Rolf, was found dead on the road near St. Andrews on Saturday evening. He appeared to have fallen from his cart head foremost.
