NEW PLYMOUTH.—This day.
The Wrenni correspondent of the Taranaki Herald writes that silver ore has been found by a half-caste at a place north of Awaking Inland, in a creek running out of the Mirnuakopa river on native land. Europeans have started off from Mokau to the place, and Tewetere has sent two natives to peg off a claim.
