London, December 3. Arrived: Sepia, from Point Pirie, May 6th; British Dunedin, from Port Victoria, May 11th ; Eialto, from Lyttelton, August 16th. St. Pbtebsuurg, December 3. Attempt on the Life of the Emperor of Russia. A Railway Train, Blown Tip. An unsuccessful attempt bai been made on tho life of the Emperor of Russia,.who arrived at Moscow yesterday. The train following with the baggage was blown up, and seven carriages complexly destroyed. Fortunately nobody was injured. The perpetrators are unknown, but it is undoubtedly the work of Nihilists. !
The Emperor, in reply to a deputation presenting a congratulatory address, thanked God for his escape, and appealed to the aid of his subjects in exterminating ■edition.
