GISBORNE.
This day.
The Eesident Magistrate's Court was crowded this morning to hear the decision of the Bench in the case of Samuel Mason Wilson, charged yesterday with indecently assaulting a Maori woman. H. Benwick, E.M., dismissed the charge, as the evidence of tbe prosecutrix was materially contradicted. The decision was received with applause, and Wilson left the Court accompaaied by bis friends. There is a rery general impression that the case should not bare come before the Court at all.
