Harbour Board THAMES HARBOR BOARD. TN accordance with Section 59 of "The Harbors Act, 1878," tho following copy of a By-Low proposed to be made bj the Thames Harbor Board is hereby published for general information. • W. In pursuance of the powers rested in thorn by "The Harbors Act, 1878," the Thames Harbor Board hereby ordain as follows :— That on and after the coining into force of this By-l'W, the Bates, Dues, Toll?, and Charges now payable for the use of the Sbortland Wharf and the Grahamstown Goods Wharf are abolished, and the following Eates, Dues, Tolls, ond Charges for the use of the Shortland Wharf, the Grahamstown Goods Wharf, or for the use of the Albert Street Wliarf, or for the uso of the Mar. Street Hard, or any other Hard of the Harbor of Thames, aud for the landing of Goods, Wares, Merchandise and Cattle, thereat or thereon, are imposed, that is to Bay— c. d. For every vessel hauling alongside the said Wharves the master or owner shall pay £1 per quarter for vessels of 20 tons register and under, and 6A per ton per quarter additional -for all vessels over 20 tons, such payments to be made in advance, commencing the quarters on the Ist January, Ist April, Ist July, and Ist October. For every vessel not paying quarterly, tiio master or owner shall pay for every day or part of a day the vessel is alongside the said Wharves 2a 6d for the first 20 tons of registered tonnage and £d per ton for each additional ton of registered tonnage. For every veßsel loading or discharging outside another vessel one-half the above rates.
