AUCKLAND.
This day.
At the half-yearly general meeting of the Thames Gas Company held this afternoon C. J. Stone presided. The secretary submitted the balance sheet which, the Chairman said, was satisfactory, considering the dull state of business on the Thames for some time past. A dividend of eighteenpence per share was declared.
