Governor Bowen and family left to-day by the Suez mail steamer for the Mauritius. His Excellency was accompanied by the authorities, and was accorded the customary honors.
The cricket match, Lord Harris' team v. Victoria, was resumed to-day. The latter's first innings closed for 261; Lord Harris' Eleven scored 58 in their second innings, with a loss of three wickets.
Cavill swam 15 miles on the Yarra in six hours to day.
