London, February 15. The Victorian Embassy arrived at Homo all well.
The Bank minimum ia unchanged. Money is becoming scarce in open market. The accumulation of gold in Bank continues. Stock markets are unsettled. Consols have been affected by the African disaster; the market for Australian seen* rities suffered somewhat.
There is a sympathy for other descriptions of stock. -
The New Zealand Agricultural Company was promoted by Vogeland Larnach with difficulty. Despite the opposition of The Timea, on first issue of half a million £300,000 was subscribed. CJV r
Corn is active. Recent shipments from New Zealand hare been of inferior quality. j

The latest Cape news states that the force under' Colonel Pearson is safely established at Ekope*(aic) in Zululand. - There are now no hostile Zulus in the Colony of Natal.
London, February 17.
A Home Eule candidate was elected by a large majority for Cork in room of the deceased member.
Lord Napier of Magdala has been summoned Home from Gibraltar, and arrived in London to-day.
St. Petebsbubg-, February 15
The Czar has issued a manifesto ratify* ing the definitive Rusec-Turkii: h treaty of peace which was signed at Constantinople on the eighth.
The withdrawal of Russian troops from Turkish territory has commenced.
London, February 18.
Sir Chas. Dilke has given notice in the House of Commons of a resolution con* demning the Zulu war.
