TAUPO.
Tuesday. A bridge within a few miles of Taupo, on the main road to Tauranga, has been totally destroyed by fire through the carelessness of some persons firing fern, thereby rendering traffic for vehicles impossible at present. A party of the Armed. Constabulary are now temporarily repairing it, under the supervision of Superintendent Scannell.
