The Grahamstown Wesleyan School teachers decided that their little charges should remain at tho school house where they seemed to be enjoying themselves immensely. A number of the little boys amused themselves with a game of cricket, while the scholars of the weaker sex " improved their shining hours" on the swings which, several of the teachers had kindly hed removed from the gardens for their benefit. The Shortland Wesleyan and Baptist schools also remained in town, the former going to the Volunteer Hall and the latter to the Kauaeranga Girls' School.
