The following is the return of gold for the month :•—^Quantities claim, forty-nine ounces five dwts ; Tokatea, seven hundred and fifteen ounces ; Union Beach, three hundred and sixty-six ounces; small parcels, about twenty ounces; The new rush to Matawai continues to attract great atteption. Mr O'Neill has telgraphed here from Wellington to know what chance of reelection he has. [* '■Quantities claim .we believe should read " Quinton's."
