FROM CORRESPONDENTS.
COROMANDEL,
This day. Emily.—The prospects of this mine are improved greatly. Mining news generally is unimportant. Cabbage Bay-—The Canterbury with timber sailed for Auckland to-day.
Kennedy's Bay.—A sad accident happened to a man known by the name of Pat Twohey. Both his logs were broken while he was jacking logs. Unfortunately the doctor here has so much sickness to attend to he cannot leave for a day or so.
