Mining Company, Limited, for permission to Construct a Water BaCB for mining purposes commencing.at a point about eight hundred yards southward of Bepche's first application, and to include two intervening streams, and terminating nearly opposite Jackson's store. The length of Buch Bace is eight hundred yards, or thereabouts, and its intended course is northward The mean depth and j breadth of-such Bace is three feet by two . feet, and it is capable of carrying Two sluice heads of water; and the number of Bluice heads of forty inchas each which it is intended to appropriate is Two, .and the land required for the said race is thirty-three feet on each side of the centre thereof. J\ Wtidbtan for Tairua Gold Mining Company; Limited, for permission to construct a Water Bace-for mining purposes, commencing at a point indicated by a peg marked T, about two hundred yards south-west of Tairua Company's battery, and terminating at the Tairua Company's No. 1 race. A PPLICATION haß been made by Fbaw« XJL CIS Daykin for permission to construct a Water Bace for mining purposes commencing at a point marked D on a branch of Neves' Creek, east of Jackson's Store, and terminating at a point about two hundred yards' below the Tairua Company's machine site. The length of such race is six hundred yards or thereabouts, and its intended course is eastward and westward. The mean depth and breads of such wee is three fret by two feet, and ibis capable of carrying two sluice heads of water; and the number of Bluice heads it is intended to appropriate is two, of forty inches, each; and the land required is six feet on each side of the said race. . NOTICE is .therefore given that on the 26th day of October. 1875, a License may be granted to the said Francis Daykin for the abovft.-described Water Bace, unless valid objection be in the meantime made in writing, and lodged at this office, not less than seven clear days before that date.
