A PPLICATION has been made by JLX. Waitee Stjixy for the Tairua Gold Mining Company, Limited, for permission to Construct a Water Race for mining purposes commencing at a point about eight hundred yarda southward of Beechc's first application, and to include two intervening streams, and terminating nearly opposite Jackson's store. The length of Buch Bace is eight hundred yards, or thereabouts, and its intended csurse is northward The mean depth and breadth of such Race is three feet by two feet, and it ia capable of carrying Two sluice heads of water 5 and the number of eluice heads of forty inchos each which it is intended to appropriate is Two, and the land required for the said race is thirty-three feet on each side of the centre thereof. NOTICE is therefore given, that on *he 12th day of October, 1875, a License may be be granted to the said Takua Gold Mining Company (Limited) for the above described Water Race, unless valid objection be in the meantime made in writing and lodged at this office not less than seven clear days before that date. Wiidmak for Tairua Gold Mining Company, Limited, for permission to construct a Water Bace for mining purposes, commencing at a point indicated by a peg marked T, nbonfc two hundred yards south-west of Tairua Company's battery, and terminating at tho Tairua Company's No. 1 race. The length of Race is two hundred yards, or thereabouts, and its intended course is east and west. The mean depth and breadth of such Race is tkree feet by two feet, and it is capable of carrying Two sluice heads of water, and the number of sluice heads of water of forty inches each which it is intended to appropriate is Two, and the land required for such Bace is thirty-three feet on each side of the centre thereof. NOTICE is therefore given, that on the 12th day of October, 1875, a License may be granted to the paid Tairua Gold Mining Company, Limited, for the above-described Water Race, unless valid objection be in the meantime made in writing and lodged at this office not less than seven clear days before that date.
