MINING COMPANY MEETINGS.
Puketui (Taisua.)
A meeting of directors of the Puketui Goldmining Company was held to-day to consider the prospects of the company, which recent reports from tho mine manager have represented as very promising. It was resolved to commence the erection of a battery on the company's ground, a large reef, with a face of nine feet, having yielded excellent results.
