Participation in Profits ia authorised by th« Legislature to be given to Policy-holders. 2-Premium rates are lower than these of Private Companies. 3—No Policy or Medical Fees charged. 4—All Policies.are non-forfeit-able after one full annual payment to the full extent of thefr Value, under a speci.il regulation providing for the continuanco in forrp of every Policy for the original amount, I until the surrender-vilue of the Policy is cxi- hausted in payment of premiums. • 5-Absolute Security from Loss. —Insurers, after having,paid three full annual 'premiums, are guaranteed a cash surrender value' of not Jess than 40 per cent, of the paid-up premiums ; and if for any reason the premiums pro not poid when due, jrpaidup Policy will be iesued, generally equal in amount to the premiums paid, and often much in excess. 6—Thirty days of grace are allowed on all Renewal Premiums.. 7—Liberal conditions as to, travelling and residence. B—Policies protected from Bankruptcy. —An Insurance Policy effected, by the Insured, lsnaf.de on his own life, is protected from bankruptcy or insolvency laws td a certain amount, which . increases with, its duration. Thus, af'er it lias endured for two years, it is protected to the extent of £200; after five years, to £500; after seven years, to £1000; after ten" years, to £2000. This protection applies only in favour of the personal representative of the Insured. 9—Married women may effect Policies, dispose of the money by will, as if single; and their Policies are protected from the debts of their husbands, according to duration, to amounts similar to those stated above. 10—Settlement Policies-— Policies effected for - the benefit of the wife and children of the Insured are absolutely protected from the claims of creditors to the extent of £2000, provided that the premiums are payable during life, or any period not less than Beven years. - If apportionment is not made at the .time, it can bo subsequently made by will. 11—Probate, &c, dispensed with —When a claim under a Policy does not exceed £200, the Commissioner may dispense with the production of Probate or Letters of Administration, thus saving great expense to the representatives of the Insured. 12—Prompt payment of Claims and no discount charged., W.
