The cutter Hero has been picked up off.Waitara, abandoned by the crew. Her hull 'had* sustained no damage, but her mast had snapped off, and was in the water,' with the mainsail' by the side. The sail had two reefs in it. It is supposed that the crew have been picked no by some vessel passing. The ship's papers show that she was, on the 20th, in latitude 3938 south.
