' The manager of the Britannia lease reports 'that he has succeeded in tracing the Prospectors' reef into and through a portion of the Britannia ground, and has obtained very good prospects from it. He estimates that it would* yield about five ounces to the ton. The width or underlie has not been ascertained but the course of the reef is 2° east of north. The manager (Mr H. T. Eowe) states that he has tried the stone in a great many places for a distance of about 400 feet, with very^ little difference in the results. A, crushing is to be got out at once 'as' a test of tho quality of the reef.
