DAUNTLESS AND SINK TO RISE.
The Dauntless tribute No. 2, Hall and party, completed a crushing of 43| tons at the Prince Alfred Battery yesterday afternoon, the yield being 138 ounces 2dwts. of retorted gold. When melted at the Bank of New Zealand, the return was reduced to 136ozsl2dwts.
