: The battery is now hung up in order that the boilers may be cleaned out. When that is accomplished the.stamps will be engaged on the company's own stuff, as well a3 the Alburnia and the long Drive. The last return from the company's mine is a very fair one, being rather superior to that obtained at the previous cleaning up. Observe the contrast. On Saturday the amalgam resulting from 738 tons was retorted, andgave 220 ounces of gold. The previous^ yield stood thus: 800 tons^lQO ounces ofj gold.
