OLD WHAU.
The above company have completed a crushing at their own mill. Fifty tons of stuff were put through and gave a return of 46 ozs 14 dwts 12 grs. As I stated before in noticing; this mine, the stuff accumulated in the home paddock came from a rise being put up on the hangingwall leader, so that there is a considerable amount of mullock,and small dirt mixed with it: and the natural inference is that, had nothing but quartz been put through the stampers, the return woi^d. have been better. /, ■
